1. Introduction

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the WishPiggy platform (“Platform”).

By accessing or using WishPiggy, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.

2. Nature of the Platform (IMPORTANT)

WishPiggy is a digital gifting and contribution platform.

WishPiggy allows:

  • Creators to publish personalised wishlist pages.

  • Supporters to voluntarily contribute money to creators.

WishPiggy does NOT:

  • Sell physical goods.

  • Ship products.

  • Guarantee delivery of any item.

  • Act as a retailer.

  • Guarantee that a creator will purchase any listed item.

  • Guarantee that a creator will provide any service or content in return.

By making a contribution, you acknowledge:

You are making a voluntary digital monetary gift.

You will NOT receive:

  • A physical product

  • A shipped item

  • A guaranteed service

  • A guaranteed benefit

  • Ownership of any listed item

WishPiggy is solely a platform facilitating voluntary financial support.

3. Contributions

All contributions made through WishPiggy:

  • Are voluntary.

  • Are digital payments.

  • Are intended to support a creator.

  • Are not purchases of goods.

  • Are not purchases of services.

Supporters understand and agree:

  • Contributions do not create a contract for delivery of any product.

  • Contributions do not entitle the supporter to receive anything in return.

  • Contributions are generally non-refundable except where required by law.

4. Commission and Fees

WishPiggy operates on a commission-based model.

When a supporter makes a contribution:

  • WishPiggy deducts a platform commission fee.

  • The remaining balance is distributed to the creator.

The commission rate may be displayed on the platform or communicated to creators separately.

Supporters acknowledge that:

  • Part of their contribution is retained by WishPiggy as a platform fee.

  • The creator receives the remaining amount after commission and payment processing fees.

5. Creator Responsibilities

Creators are solely responsible for:

  • The content of their wishlist.

  • The accuracy of descriptions.

  • How they use contributed funds.

  • Compliance with applicable laws.

  • Ensuring they are legally permitted to receive funds.

WishPiggy does not:

  • Verify whether creators purchase listed items.

  • Monitor how creators spend contributions.

  • Guarantee creator conduct.

Creators may be required to complete identity verification before receiving payouts.

6. No Guarantee of Benefit

WishPiggy makes no representation that:

  • Contributors will receive recognition.

  • Contributors will receive content.

  • Contributors will receive communication.

  • Contributors will receive rewards.

Any communication, recognition or benefits offered by creators are solely between the creator and supporter.

WishPiggy is not a party to those interactions.

7. Payments and Processing

All payments are processed by third-party payment providers (such as Stripe).

WishPiggy does not store full card details.

By making a contribution, you also agree to the terms of the relevant payment provider.

WishPiggy reserves the right to:

  • Withhold payouts in cases of suspected fraud.

  • Suspend accounts.

  • Reverse transactions where legally required.

8. Refund Policy

Because contributions are voluntary digital gifts:

  • Contributions are non-refundable.

  • Refunds will only be issued where required by law.

  • Chargebacks may result in account suspension.

Excessive chargebacks may result in permanent account termination.

9. Age Restriction

WishPiggy is strictly for individuals aged 18 years or older.

By using the Platform, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old.

Accounts belonging to minors will be terminated.

10. Prohibited Use

Users may not:

  • Use WishPiggy for illegal activities.

  • Engage in fraud.

  • Abuse payment systems.

  • Impersonate others.

  • Upload unlawful content.

WishPiggy reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts at its discretion.

11. Limitation of Liability

WishPiggy acts solely as a digital platform.

WishPiggy is not responsible for:

  • Creator conduct.

  • Creator promises.

  • Creator misuse of funds.

  • Disputes between supporters and creators.

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

WishPiggy shall not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts:

  • For breach of these Terms.

  • For fraudulent behaviour.

  • For regulatory compliance.

  • For excessive disputes or chargebacks.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time.

Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

15. Acknowledgement (Critical Clause)

By making a contribution, you expressly acknowledge and agree:

  • You are making a voluntary digital monetary gift.

  • You will not receive any physical product.

  • You will not receive ownership of any item listed.

  • You are not purchasing goods.

  • You are not purchasing services.

  • WishPiggy is a facilitation platform only.

  • WishPiggy deducts commission fees before paying creators.
